Baraka is the Chief Executive Officer at JWAPANO Group of Companies. He has considerable experience in project management, product innovation, finance, research, and development. He is the visionary behind the JWAPANO Story, through his travel and advocacy for women’s empowerment across the country he came across the special bamboo plant and its many uses. He researched, proceeded to set up, and further trained locals in the southern part of Tanzania on how to monetize the bamboo plant while ensuring environmental sustainability. His desire to empower locals in rural areas to become changemakers through acquiring handcraft skills among others is what has made JWAPANO what it is today.
